Who is responsible for your data
Floco French is an independent French teaching practice (micro-entreprise) based in Fontenay-sous-Bois, Île-de-France, France. Floriane, the founder, is the data controller. You can reach her at contact@flocofrench.fr.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what you type into the form on this site:
- the plan you are interested in;
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your native language and the language you are learning;
- your date of birth and country of residence;
- your French level and the goal you describe.
This information is used for one purpose only: to reply to you, prepare your free 40-minute diagnostic, and propose the lesson plan that fits. It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.
Legal basis
Sending the form is a request on your side: we process your data on the basis of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6.1.f).
How long we keep it
Requests that do not lead to lessons are deleted after 12 months. If you become a student, your details are kept for the duration of our work together plus the accounting retention period required by French law.
Where it is stored
The form sends an email and writes a backup copy to the website's hosting account. The site is hosted in France by o2Switch (222-224 boulevard Gustave Flaubert, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand). Fonts and all other assets are served from this same server — no Google Fonts, no third-party CDN, no advertising network.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Nothing about your visit is measured or profiled.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to its processing, at any time — just write to contact@flocofrench.fr and we'll act within one month. If you feel your request was not handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
